At a glance: People are on their phones constantly searching, scrolling, and looking for solutions to real problems.
If your content clearly explains what you do, who you help, and how you solve specific problems, you position your business as the obvious choice.
Make a list of problems you’ve solved. Create content around those problems. Share consistently. Trust compounds.
Last week, I was sitting in the Sphere in Las Vegas waiting for The Wizard of Oz to start when my girlfriend leaned over and said, “Look at all the people on their phones.”
Then she said, “You can’t tell me marketing on phones doesn’t work.”
She was right.

People are constantly searching, scrolling, reading, and watching. In between meetings, in waiting rooms, in airports, and late at night on the couch, and, whether they realize it or not, they are looking for solutions to problems they are trying to solve right now.
One way they search for those solutions is by consuming content on social media.
Some of it is forgettable. Some of it is incredibly helpful.
The businesses that benefit the most are the ones creating content that helps the right people think more clearly about the problems they are facing.
If you’re a business owner, you have a significant opportunity if you think about this the right way.
Your next customer is looking for a solution to a problem they have right now!
Ask yourself this question: Are you intentionally creating content to help them solve that problem?
When someone visits your website, scrolls your social media, or reads something you have written, do they come away knowing they answers to these questions:
Do they quickly understand what you do?
Do they know who you help and how you help them?
Do they see the kinds of challenges you are experienced in solving?
The challenge to creating great content that answers these questions is rarely expertise.
Most business owners already have the experience, knowledge, and insight needed to create valuable content. The challenge is consistently sharing what you know in a way that positions your business as a clear and credible solution over time.
Helpful marketing often feels repetitive because you are talking about the same core problems again and again, but that repetition is what builds recognition and trust.
If you want a simple way to begin, try this:
Make a list of 10 customers you genuinely enjoyed working with.
Write down the specific problem you helped each of them solve.
Create short posts, articles, or videos that explain how someone should think about that problem and what they should consider when trying to solve it.
Share that content consistently.
Repeat daily.
You can do this, show up where your customers spend time over and over again and eventually you become someone they know, like and trust.
Only when they know, like, and trust you, will they do business with you.
P.S. If you’re looking to show up consistently with strong, quality content this year, then we can do a 90-minute, one-on-one Action Accelerator or you can book a discovery call with my team where we can discuss done-with-you or done-for-you marketing strategy options.
