If someone discovered your business today, would they easily find what you sell? Or would they have to go looking for it?
When we were at the Beach House Mastermind earlier this year, we were reading $100M Money Models by Alex Hormozi together.
A few people commented that while the book was good, it felt a little salesy. Throughout the book, Alex directs people to his website, newsletter, and other offers.
So I asked a simple question, “How many of you have made $100 million?”
This is a room of very successful women, but there were no hands.
And then I kept lowering the number to $50 million, 20, 10, and so on.
So then I asked another question, “Considering his results, is it salesy…or is it effective?”
Alex Hormozi generated more than $100 million in a single book launch weekend last year.
And he makes consistent, direct offers. His book leads to his website. His website leads to his newsletter and programs. His newsletter leads back to his site and his offers.
The path is intentional.
And he doesn’t apologize for it.
Most business owners take the opposite approach. They worry so much about sounding salesy that they avoid making clear offers altogether. They soften the ask, bury the close, or skip it entirely. Then they wonder why sales feel unpredictable.
As we head into the second quarter of the year, this is a good time to look at your own marketing and ask a few simple questions.
What is the one offer you want to grow this quarter?
Once you have that answer, look at where and how you are talking about it.
- Is that offer clearly mentioned in your newsletter?
- Is it visible on your website?
- Do your social posts point people toward it?
- If someone downloads a free resource or reads a blog post, do they see a natural next step that leads back to that offer?
This is where AI can help.
You can ask it to help you map out a simple campaign for the quarter around one offer with multiple touch points, and a clear path that moves people from discovering you to understanding how you help without losing sight of your offers.
You can create your own marketing ecosystem with direct links to each avenue, just like Alex does.
Your blog can point to your newsletter.
Your newsletter can point to your offer.
Your social posts can point to both.
And each place should reinforce the same message.
The businesses that grow aren’t afraid to make offers. They simply make it easy for people to know what those offers are and where to find them.
If your sales feel inconsistent, the solution may not be more leads.
It may simply be making your offer clearer and talking about it more often.
