What does a miracle look like?The Ottawa Citizen dubbed him “Kevin the Wonder Kid”.

So, it really goes without saying that getting to the hospital for this family is critical to living a normal life. A reliable vehicle is more than a convenience, more than even a necessity for them. It truly does mean the difference between life and death.
Though Kim is determined and tenacious, it takes more than determination and love to care for Kevin. As he grows his needs are more complex and require more and more resources. Attending to his care is her full time job – one she holds with dignity and grace, and without the luxury of a full time income, benefits or extras.
Simple health complications that you and I wouldn’t think twice about, create a major crisis for this child.

All they need is a mini van that can be equipped with a special chair lift for his wheelchair and can transport all of his medical supplies when they go out for what we would consider an everyday drive.
