The start of something transformational.
Today through Saturday, I’m in Nashville, kicking off our second in-person Brain Trust retreat of the year, and I’m reminded—yet again—that growth doesn’t happen in isolation.
It happens when you’re surrounded by people who see what’s possible for you before you do.
Years ago, Pierre Raymond invited me to Giovanni Marsico’s Archangel Summit in Toronto. I didn’t just attend once—I went back the next year with ten clients. Why? Because I recognized the power of processing powerful insights together.
After the event, we spent a full day unpacking what we learned, and let me tell you, when you hear what stood out to someone else, it sharpens your thinking, too.
It’s like taking your learning and 10x-ing it.
That’s the inspiration for what we do inside The Brain Trust. This isn’t just a mastermind. It’s a curated experience that gives you the space to reflect, challenge assumptions, and shift the way you lead and grow.
Sometimes, the most unexpected conversations spark the biggest breakthroughs. Sometimes, someone else’s “aha” moment unlocks your next move. And sometimes, just being in a room full of high-level thinkers creates a kind of positive pressure to dream and act bigger.
The room matters. The right people make all the difference.
And that’s what this retreat and this group of like-minded business leaders is all about.
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s really like to be part of The Brain Trust, I’d love to answer your questions. Send me an email at lisa@lisalarter.com.

Because you never know which conversation will change everything.
