Ask Lisa: What do Favorites mean on Twitter?

Q: What do Favorites mean on Twitter?

A: Favorites are the way that you can save tweets so you don’t lose track of them. There are a couple of reasons you might want to save tweets. Some people like to save them so they can refer back to the tweet, or the link to an article later on and my favourite thing to do is to create a Twitter Feel Good Wall. Any time someone tweets something about working with me that makes me feel good, I mark it a s a favourite. This creates a wall of social proof that I can refer others to and it makes me feel great when I read what people have said.
