You make some great points Lisa! I couldn’t agree more about paying off your mortgage. I would only add to that to pay off all non-deductible debt; that is, debt that can’t be written off to reduce the amount of tax you pay. That includes mortgage debt and credit card debt. If it’s not productive, then get rid of it! Plus, credit card debt costs a fortune and robs women of their wealth.
